Trying somthing new

A few weeks ago I got the ide of making duck wrapped in ricepaper and I finally pulled up my sleeves last weekend and got busy in the kitchen. I found the recipe here and the result was fantastic. Well I still need a little bit of practice in wrapping the rolls, but the duck was perfectly cooked and it was absoulutly delicious. Then Ingo made blackened tuna as well.

We bought the dressings in the photo from Stick&Sushi at Gammel Kongevej. The first is Goma dressing, which is a sesame dressing which i a little bit sweet. The second dressing is Spicy Miso, which is a dressing with both chili and Miso, which is a traditional japenese seasoning.

New bag !!!

They say money can't buy you happiness!

But a new Mulberry bag makes me pretty happy :) 

Just bought this beauty today and I am in love. It is a second hand bag so I got it at half of the retail price. The previous owner took good care of the bag so it is in great condition. It is a Mulberry Bayswater Buckle - Oak Natural Leather. I found it on webpage called www.trandsales.dk where you can buy and sell second hand items or search for some great deals from retailers. I can absoulutly reccomend the webpage as it has many users and has therefore a great selection of both high street and luxury items.  

Daisy dream

Ingo bought me a new perfume on his latest business trip. It is the new fragrance  from Marc Jacobs - Daisy Dream. The bottle is just so pretty and girly and the fragrance it self reminds me of summer and sunny days.

As dark, depressing and boring these first months of the year often can be, there is one good thing about them - you can do some great deals on sales! I just bought this awesome furry sweater, a few days ago, for half the original price.

It is from the brand Nümph, a Danish design that I have absoulutly fallen in love with. I came across their design last spring when we took a weekend trip to Aalborg in North Jutland.  But I had not been able to find a reseller of the brand here in Copenhagen. This December I finally found their clothes in Miss Corner on Amagerbrogade (I wrote a post about the store earlyer this week).










The thing I love the most about the brand is the amazing prints their item have. The sweater for exaple has a leapard print sewed in with a silver thread and on the back is a face of a leapard.

And beside - How can you say no to clothes with this statment on the label :)

Miss Corner

One of my favourite stores is a hidden pearl here on the Amager island. It is called Miss Corner and it is located on Amagerbrogade 59.

Even though Amager is a big part of Copenhagen, Amager it is usually not a place where people look for a great shopping experience.

I only know of it because the girls dance school is right on the other side of the street and once a week I have about 45 minutes to kill and what better way to do that than shopping ;) (my husband does not approve of this)
